New Game Coming Soon!

In the home stretch, but still quite far. Ran into some development and licensing issues. In order to release this game sooner we had to forgo the license of a part of the system by removing it. Unfortunately, removing that system caused more errors to pop up. So we spent an extra month adding fixes and a few work arounds, but development is back on track.

Right now we're in the play testing phase which includes some quality of life changes to the game. Expected release is early February assuming nothing else comes up.

For those wondering, this game takes place in a parallel reality of our original series. Same characters exist, but we really wanted to iron out the world in which the stories occur as well as many of the concepts that form the basis of the world.

Originally we were aiming for a "steampunk-ish" world, but considering the different ideas that formed the basis of the world, a steampunk swords & sorcery world didn't seem adequate forcing us to change a lot of the world to fit the ideas that founded it.

From a design stand point, this release is more of a proving ground for the new improved system we're introducing to the game.

We may put up a demo on itch.io before the game is released.

Yeah, it's been a year or so since my last update...give or take. Been busy with many things and dealing with personal stuff.

But we're in the home stretch for the next game release! This one will pay homage to the character April O'Neil from the 1980's version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Roughly the same character, but with a more independent woman-streak. I being a fan of the TMNT series, I can't bear to have any of the copyright owners mad at me for any reason, so my character will be named April O'Sheila. Unlike April O'Neil, she doesn't have teen mutant turtles trained in martial arts to save her ass. She's pretty good at using her wits and her feminine wiles to get out of problems.

More Apologies

Unfortunately, I'm still getting used to my new schedule. So releases might be slower these next few months. I have a lot of personal business to attend to as well as trying to upgrade my systems. I apologize for the delay and I hope that I can resume releasing content on a regular basis again.

My apologies.

For those of you who are looking forward to the next Onsen Hime game release, or to the new monthly content I have been posting on hentaikey lately, you have my sincerest apologies. At the moment, I'm going through a bit of a rough patch, and I need to raise some funds to pay my bills.

Game status: So far, I've spent the better part of the last two years working on a game engine and story line. I have both ready, but unfortunately, just having a viable game engine isn't enough. I actually have to put in the work into designing the levels, maps, and inputting dialogue as well as the copious amounts of play testing that needs to be done before I can release it to the public. Unfortunately, with things as they are, this will be delayed for a bit, as the job I've taken on will have me contracted for a year or so and I need to focus on that.

Hentaikey content status: This has been an ongoing project to help me sharpen my skills and provide exclusive content to hentaikey.com members. For those of you who have had the pleasure of watching my art style progress, thank you for your patronage. I will try to keep this up in the coming months, but please understand that September's release will be a tad late, or it may be non-existent depending on the workload and other responsibilities I will be under.


Those things said, it is my plan to keep slowly working on the monthly releases and the new game releases. However, I had originally planned for the new game to be released by about Christmas this year, and that probably isn't going to happen.

I thank everyone who has helped me in making these games as well as those of you who enjoy playing them. I hope to give you something new to look forward to really soon.

The mists of August

August has finally come as the mists of summer fade into fall. We welcome the final month of summer with the cool mist of Kasumi, the misty ninja.

To an old fart like me - she is Lara Croft meets Mai Shiranui. Although her outfit resembles the aforementioned KoF/Fatal Fury starlet, it is actually an accepted stereotypical genre design shared among all female ninjas(unless they came from the Naruto series).

What makes Kasumi different is that she is "The Kunoichi of Destiny" and is heralded as the best ninja of her world... to the point that enhanced clones of her are running around and/or being sold to various questionable agencies. However, that doesn't make her any less likeable.

Happy Friday 13th!

Sorry for the wait everyone. I was busy improving the animation system so this release came in pretty late. Happy Friday 13th Everyone! And what better way to survive an unlucky day than with a hard core babe! I love Lara Croft as the bad ass video game heroine that told the world that women can certainly kick ass and take names. I even love the reboot of her character in the new series.

But I have to say that the Lara that's nearest and dearest to my heart is the original Tomb Raider herself who will go down in history as one of first video game females to inspire the creation of "the nude patch" - i.e. "Nude Raider". The fix that lets you play a Tomb Raider game with Lara naked.

Yeah, the original model had "pointy boobs" that everyone makes fun of now. But in my day, knowing that her proportions were inspired by that sexy hour-glass figure on the box art made her all the more attractive. She made gaming history on so many levels. June! Mai Shiranui!

It's Mai Shiranui for June! Unfortunately, I got sick over the past month halting a lot of production. I hate to make that excuse, but it's true. I tried forcing myself to work on content, but in the end, I rested more for the sake of my recovery. However, in the future, I plan to add more to current galleries, so there will be updates to them. On that note, I did manage to add a new animation gallery. The old animation system was really hard to work with. This one is a bit "off", but it'll do for now.
